Lastline Wins Cybersecurity Excellence Award for Advanced Persistent Threat Protection
It has been a great year in terms of recognition for our Lastline solutions. In February, we won eight awards from the Infosecurity Products Guide for our solutions to protect against Advanced Malware, including a quite hefty Grand Award. Fortunately, cofounder Giovanni Vigna did not have to trek up to the podium eight times for the awards, or it would have been a long Monday evening. In comparison, “Mad Max: Fury Road” took him six Oscars earlier this year!
Earlier this week, Lastline won the Cybersecurity Excellence Award for APTs (Advanced Persistent Threats). Over a dozen products were under consideration in for best APT solution. Three were named finalists and Lastline took home the prize.
There were 35 product categories and 185 products in competition for awards this year. APT protection was second in terms of number of products vying for recognitions with thirteen. Lastline achieved a 4.5 star rating for its solution.

The Cybersecurity Excellence Awards is an annual competition honoring individuals and companies that demonstrate excellence, innovation and leadership in information security.
We will be sharing details shortly about other recognition. We’re quite happy!
Great products require great developers. It’s a constant battle to stay ahead of today’s threats and the recognition we’ve received demonstrates that our team has been up to the challenge.
